Privacy Notice

This privacy notice explains how ReiluKyyti Oy processes personal data on the ReiluKyyti website. It covers the website contact forms and technical use of the website. Personal data processing in the ReiluKyyti mobile applications is described in separate application-specific privacy notices.

2. Personal data and sources

We process the information you provide through a website form:

• name and email address;
• optional phone number and city or operating area;
• the subject and content of your message.

When delivering and protecting the website, the server may also process essential technical log data such as the IP address, request time, requested page, and technical browser and device information.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to enquiries, support requests and billing matters.
• Preparing and managing customer, driver, entrepreneur and partnership relationships.
• Securing the website, preventing misuse and investigating technical issues.

Depending on the situation, processing is based on performing a contract or taking pre-contractual steps at your request, ReiluKyyti’s legitimate interests in managing enquiries and business relationships and protecting the website, or compliance with a legal obligation, for example in accounting matters.

4. Required and optional information

Your name, email address and message are required so that we can process and respond to your enquiry. We cannot process the form without them. Providing a phone number and city or operating area is optional.

5. Recipients and processors

Your information is processed by ReiluKyyti personnel whose duties include handling the enquiry. Planeetta Internet Oy / Domainhotelli acts as the website and email service provider and personal data processor. The servers are located in Helsinki, Finland.

Information may be disclosed to an authority where required by law. It is not sold or used for third-party direct marketing.

6. International transfers

Website enquiry data is not intentionally transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

7. Retention

Messages submitted through website forms are retained for no longer than 24 months from the enquiry. Information may be retained for longer only where required by a contract, accounting obligation, the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or another legal obligation.

Technical log data is retained only for as long as necessary to secure the website, prevent misuse and investigate technical issues.

8. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to:

• obtain confirmation of whether we process your personal data and access that data;
• request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• request erasure or restriction of processing;
• object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interests;
• receive data you have provided in a portable format where this right applies.

If you believe that your personal data is processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.

9. Automated decision-making

Data collected through the website is not used for profiling or automated decision-making.

10. Cookies and tracking

The ReiluKyyti website currently does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or other user tracking. If technologies requiring consent are introduced later, we will request consent before activating them and update this notice.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice if the website or our processing activities change. The current version and its last-updated date will always be available on this page.
